José Antonio Leal

Jose Antonio Leal Parra is a traditional medicine Shaman in Ayahuasca and knowledgeable about medicinal plants. He learned and practiced with traditional doctors from the indigenous peoples of the Colombian Amazon, the Inga and Kamentsa peoples, for 15 years and has the recognition of the authorities and elders as a traditional doctor.

This path of learning has allowed him to connect with nature and his inner spirit, enabling him to share with humanity the knowledge for healing mind, body, and spirit by integrating plants from the Andean highlands, plants that protect and harmonize the self. Likewise, as part of his learning and current practice, he has mastered the preparation of Ayahuasca and energetic and spiritual cleansing, balancing and centering himself, contributing his knowledge and spiritual strength to the holistic understanding of humanity.

On the other hand, during his travels in different areas, he has received recognition from the NUE (United Nations of the Spirit), being certified as a spiritual ambassador for supporting the rights of Mother Earth and embracing the United Nations of the Spirit declaration.

Jose Antonio received recognition from the Ministry of Public Health of Ecuador for participating in the intercultural health program integrating ancestral, traditional, and complementary medicine, in which several communities participated to strengthen spiritual health.

Similarly, he has received recognition from the María Saraswti Chiriboga delegation as the second man initiated into the fire, a bearer of the incense, and a sacred incense burner of the south.

Today, he continues to contribute to strengthening the use and practice of medicine in a holistic way to safeguard human life and nature.
